Biotech startup’s mission inspired by family member with muscle disease

Courtney Young and MyoGene Bio were highlighted in Colorado Hometown Weekly today. Courtney grew up in Boulder, CO and was inspired by her cousin's diagnosis with Duchenne to dedicate her career to this devastating muscle wasting disease.  MyoGene was spun out of her PhD thesis work with co-founders Melissa Spencer and April Pyle at UCLA. The company is dedicated to developing therapies that aim to save the lives of patients with muscle diseases.
